Focusing on the smart fisheries upgrade needs of the Greater Bay Area, the project tackles the pain points of traditional aquaculture - unstable yield, high energy consumption, experience-dependent management, insufficient regulatory efficiency and incomplete traceability - and builds a "Bay Area smart fisheries digital foundation + industry collaboration platform", moving fisheries from experience-driven to data- and algorithm-driven.

Based on a cloud-edge-device architecture, the project integrates water-quality sensing, video surveillance, edge computing, AI model engines, decision systems and a regulatory cockpit. For farming scenarios it provides precision feeding, smart aeration, environmental control, disease warning and full-process traceability, improving farming efficiency and digital management.

On the product side, the project has formed four product lines - production decision engine, digital management system, production-marketing collaboration platform and government regulatory cockpit - covering production intelligence, management digitalization, online regulation and production-marketing coordination, serving demonstration farms, regional replication and industry collaboration.

The project aims to achieve stable production and supply, green emission reduction, cost efficiency and better regulation, creating a smart fisheries benchmark that can first be demonstrated at county level and then replicated across the Bay Area.
