Laser Weeding! From "Knowing How to Farm" to "Farming Smart": Spring Plowing Hits the Fast-Forward Button

From the precise "blade of light" of laser weeding to Beidou-guided drones soaring over fields; from smart platforms monitoring crops in real time to intelligent machines roaring through the soil - modern technology is profoundly changing traditional spring plowing, turning "knowing how to farm" into "farming smart" and hitting the "fast-forward button" for spring plowing.

From "manual weeding" to "laser weeding"

Smart equipment boosts working efficiency

The farmland "blade of light" is here! China's self-developed laser weeding equipment uses an AI vision system to precisely identify crops and weeds and removes weeds physically with high-temperature laser, achieving a weeding rate of up to 95%.

From "single-point breakthroughs" to "scale application"

Smart machinery improves the quality and efficiency of spring plowing

Spring plowing is in full swing across Jiangxi. Localities continue to increase investment in agricultural machinery, using mechanization to support production and ensure stable, high-quality grain output.

In the thousand-mu quality rice base of Zhoujiang Village, Xujiadu Town, Shanggao County, Yichun City, grain grower Wang Fagen is organizing tillage of more than 2,000 mu of "ton-grain fields" in the fine weather. He has leased over 1,000 mu for early rice this year; every year this season, the tight schedule and labor shortage give him headaches. Now, "as soon as the machines start, progress is much faster - efficiency is far higher than before."

Shanggao is a major traditional agricultural county with a large cultivated area; this year it has secured over 266,000 mu of early rice planting. To consolidate the foundation of a good harvest, the county puts "early" first, driving spring plowing with the "two wheels" of machinery and agronomy.

Technology empowerment

These "technological forces" rooted in the fields

are being transformed into "hard support" for stable grain production,

writing a new chapter on the fields of hope.
